OUR VISION


Art South Asia Project (ASAP) works with institutions and individuals to support selected research projects, publications, exhibitions and events that seek to expand and deepen engagement with modern and contemporary visual arts from South Asia and its diaspora. We also offer a range of grants and provide access to a wide research knowledge network by collaborating with subject specialists across the region.

OBJECTIVES


Encouraging the continuation of education in the field of modern and contemporary visuals arts for professionals in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and its diaspora.

Creating opportunities and careers for people passionate about South Asian visual art.

Expanding sustainable networks and transnational dialogues within South Asia and its diaspora to promote the sharing of resources and knowledge.

Fostering the exploration, understanding and enjoyment of visual arts from across South Asia for both local and international audiences.
