The Archiving division at ASAP awards grants to institutions seeking to archive material relating to modern and contemporary fine and applied arts and/or to develop their archival skills and knowledge
The grants will be awarded to institutions or artist estates in South Asia or the UK
We are particularly interested in supporting institutions who are looking to archive artists and/or movements in South Asia that have been lost in the history of the field of modern and contemporary fine and applied arts (i.e. artists and/or artistic movements that have not been recognised or researched to their fullest extent)
The archival material created for this program must be made available for public access on the ASAP website
The assigned peer to peer support will be dependent upon the application provided by the institution
Grants and opportunities for institutions seeking to develop educational programming and/or individuals/artists seeking to develop or learn the skills of art administration, art production and art management within the field of modern and contemporary South Asian visual art.
Grants and mentorship for individuals within South Asian institutions who wish to create educational publications with the aim of advancing the field of modern and contemporary South Asian visual art.
Grants and opportunities for individuals within South Asian-led institutions, who are seeking to further educate themselves in the field of modern and contemporary South Asian visual art.
